Drain Line Collapsed – Industrial Sector

Everest dispatched a professional team of Plumbing Technicians to a processing plant in Georgetown. Everest worked in the facility for a couple visits in the month of December. We arrived, and analyzed, and quickly got to diagnosing the issue at the facility, and quickly learned that it was a multi-day project, and required heavy machinery to cut concrete, to access the main drain line which had collapsed. We successfully excavated the concrete, and also the dirt and soil underneath, and reached the main drain line. In a couple of hours, we completed the installation of a new drain line, and embedded & buried the line with the excavated soil, and gravel mix.

Project Highlights:

  • Utilized a video camera inspection to check for clogs.
  • Snaking multiple rounds in two separate floor drains.
  • Tracked and located the main drain line.
  • Cut, and excavated approximately 25-30 ft sq area concrete on two different spots.
  • Excavated all soil and gravel mix to expose the collapsed main drain line on both sides.
  • Pumped out excess water with a water pump.
  • Replaced the main drain line with a new PVC set.
  • Support the pipe with garvel and back fill the to reqired level.
