We Can Help

Trenchless technology is a technique of repairing sewer pipes without destructively digging and removing large portions of lawn, flooring, and walls to expose the building’s pipes. This technology repairs and structurally restores an existing pipe internally rather than by disruptive, costly excavating followed by conventional pipe repair.

How does Trenchless technology work?

Having a sewer problem and taking care of it can be a nightmare. Because these large, old pipes are located underground, accessing them could require that you dig up your backyard and make costly replacements to your entire sewer pipe system. But, thanks to trenchless technology, this is no longer a necessary risk or added expense.

Following are the steps of trenchless technology we use for pipe replacement works:

  • Our technicians safely dig a small hole at the edge of your property where the sewer or water line crosses to the municipal system. We can access the end of the pipe and detach it.
  • From indoors, we located where the sewer line exits the house.
  • Depending on the required length, the pipes are butt-welded to the desired length.
  • A new pipe is slipped inside the existing line and pulled through following the host pipe’s lining up. As it is being pulled through, it brings the new pipe into place breaking away the old pipe.
  • The new pipe is connected to the municipal system and the single small hole is filled in and landscaped.

Some FAQ’s of Trechless Technology

  • 1. Is trenchless technology a safe system?

Yes, it is. It is safer than digging up a sewer line and doesn’t damage your floor, yard, or basement.

  • 2. To whom should I contact for trenchless sewer line repair?

If you are from Toronto, you shouldn’t have to look any further than Everest Drain. Please, call us at 413-383-7378 to get immediate solutions.

  • 3. Is trenchless pipe lining suitable for old and broken pipelines?

Of course, it’s suitable. Our specialist will inspect your system to evaluate the conditions and problem and will advise accordingly. If your drainage system hasn’t collapsed totally, this technology is the best choice for the system.

  • 4. Does trenchless pipe lining last longer than metal pipes?

Trenchless pipe lining lasts much longer than metal pipe because the trenchless pipe doesn’t rust and is highly resistant to water. Whereas metal pipes start to corrode and depreciate as soon as they are installed and water starts running through them.

  • 5. How much time does the whole process take?

To complete the repairing job, it depends on how much the damage needs to be repaired
