City of Toronto Corrosion Control Plan
In 2014, the City of Toronto began incorporating phosphate into the drinking water treatment process as part of a corrosion control strategy. This approach is approved and regulated by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP). The addition of phosphate helps create a protective layer inside pipes and plumbing fixtures, which reduces the likelihood of lead entering the tap water. Ongoing water quality tests have consistently shown lower lead levels compared to those recorded before the implementation of the corrosion control treatment. Indra, has always given us great service & the same was true this time. I called his company on Thursday, he returned my call promptly a few hours later & on Friday, the next day, ( Dec. 6.24) was here installing a new toilet. He was courteous, punctual, professional & very patient and knowledgeable in answering my questions about the replacement & installation of the toilet. He did a fantastic job: he was very tidy, skilled, organized, quick & efficient from start to finish. We are enjoying our new American Standard 16.5 in. toilet that works very well & is more comfortable since it's higher than the old one. I highly recommend Indra from Everest Drain & Plumbing Inc. for all your plumbing needs. I am a happy returning customer! Linda

I called Everest late Monday night. They answered the phone promptly and said they could get someone out the next day. Adrian showed up at said time and was able to diagnose my leak as a corroded toilet flange. The cost was reasonable. No complaints. Adrian also answered some other questions we had about plumbing around the house. Adrian was professional and easy to work with. If there's any issues (hopefully there won't be) in the future I definitely recommend this company. Hopefully you get Adrian as your technician.
