8″ Water Main Brust | Emeregency

Everest responded to 8” main water pipe burst near Pharmacy and Ellesmere Road in Scarborough during cold winter in end of February 2022. We scope the job same day of request and was successfully to restore the 8” ductile burst main water line back within next 72hr by replacing  apporx 128ft it with new  8” DR PVC .

Project Involved:

• Excavation trench approx. 10ft W 12 ft D.
• Pumping out the burst water from trench.
• Removing burst section and all rusted 8” Ductile pipe underground water main approx. 128ft
• Supplied and installed 8” DR PVC, mechanical coupling, elbow, bell restraint approx. 128ft
• Installed tracer wire for same.
• Tested everything and back fill the trench to grade and compacted every two feet of dirt of layer.
• Disposed excessive asphalt, rock concrete and dirt from work area with general clean up.
